An electrical fault interrupted railway traffic in different sections of the Castilla y León network this Sunday afternoon, as reported by the Railway Infrastructure Administrator (Adif) through the social network X.
Specifically, the breakdown has affected the sections between Miamán (Ourense) and Otero de Bodas (Zamora), as well as Valladolid-Burgos and between Venta de Baños (Palencia)- León, after 5:25 p.m. As Adif explained, the situation has derived from a possible lack of supply because of the supplying company.
Furthermore, at 5:40 p.m. there was also a lack of command and vision in the interlockings between Zamora and Otero Weddings, affecting Long Distance and Avant trains, which have been stopped.
In total they are eight trains those that present delays while Adif continues working to resolve the incident.
At around 6:30 p.m., Adif reported that tension had been reestablished on all routes, although the lack of control over the Zamora and Otero de Bodas interlockings continued and circulation was maintained with authorization from signal overflow.
