The Court of first instance and instruction number 2 of Corcubión, in the province of To Coruña, has decreed provisional prison, communicated and without bail for a resident of Malpica for robbing 44,000 euros in a bank in Camariñas at gunpoint.
As reported by the Civil Guardat the end of February the convicted had tried to rob a branch in Esteiro, in Muros, but did not access the bank. The only employee prevented her from entering, because his attitude and the clothes she was wearing raised the worker’s suspicions.
Four days later, the same man robbed a bank office in Ponte do Porto, in Camariñas, where he attacked and intimidated an employee with a gun. He left him immobilized and He took a loot of 44,000 euros.
He was serving a sentence for similar crimes.
The investigation made it possible to identify the alleged perpetrator of the events and recover an important part of the loot. Specifically, it is about a resident of Malpica who was serving a sentence for similar actsbut having entered the third degree of prison, he enjoyed outings and leave, during which he committed the acts.
For all this, the arrested person was brought to justice, being sent to prison.
