In the Ulster Senior Football Championship, Armagh and Down will battle it out for a place in the Ulster final. That one throws in at 5.15pm in Clones.
And the women’s football provincial championships get underway this weekend.
In Munster old rivals Kerry and Cork clash in Brosna, whilst Tipperary welcome Waterford to Bansha.
Hurling
Today in the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship, Dublin will be hoping to build on last week’s draw with Wexford as they travel to Netwatch Culen Park to take on Carlow.
Throw in for that one is at 6pm.
Antrim will hope to respond to their drubbing at the hands of Kilkenny when they welcome Wexford to Corrigan Park. The game throws in at 3pm.
In the Joe McDonagh Cup, Meath host Laois, and Offaly face Westmeath. Both games are start at 3pm.
Elsewhere there are three Christy Ring Cup clashes – London host Wicklow and Kildare host Derry, both games throw in at 1pm. Tyrone travel to Sligo for a 3pm start.
In the Nicky Rackard Cup, Louth host Mayo and Donegal welcome Monaghan. In the Lory Meagher competition, Longford play Leitrim and Lancashire host Cavan.
Premier League
Liverpool look to bounce back from Wednesday’s derby defeat to Everton as they travel to Wolverhampton Wanderers for the lunchtime kick-off in the Premier League
In today’s 3pm kick-offs, Manchester United host Burnley, Newcastle United host Sheffield United, Wolves take on Luton, and Fulham host Crystal Palace.
The 5.30pm kick-off is Everton hosting Brentford, while later this evening Aston Villa host Chelsea from 8pm.
Rugby
Women’s Six Nations
In today’s Women’s Guinness Six Nations, Ireland welcome Scotland to Belfast as they look to secure third spot and a place in next year’s Rugby World Cup.
However, that will depend on today’s earlier game between Italy and Wales – that kicks off at 12.15pm, while in Belfast kick-off is at 2.30pm.
Elsewhere, England travel to France as both sides chase the Grand Slam.

Munster are in South Africa for their clash with the Emirates Lions in the United Rugby Championship today, which kicks off at 4pm.
Meanwhile, Leinster look to bounce back from their defeat last week to the Lions as they take DHL Stormers at 6.05pm.
Connacht will face the Dragons, which kicks off at 8pm.
Snooker
Shaun Murphy resumes his second round match this morning with Stephen Maguire.
Maguire leads five frames to three after the first session.
Judd Trump will also look to book his place in the quarter-final – he currently just needs two more frames to secure victory.
The 2019 World Champion leads Tom Ford by 11 frames to five.
Later this afternoon, Mark Allen takes on John Higgins whilst Si Jiahui and Jak Jones will resume their meeting.
Tonight, Kyren Wilson takes on Joe O’Connor and Jack Lisowski plays Stuart Bingham.
