Vodafone expands its high-speed fiber footprint in 559 Spanish municipalities

Vodafone has expanded its fiber optic coverage in 559 municipalities in 12 autonomous communities. With this initiative, 200,500 new real estate units They will be able to contract fiber with Vodafone with 1Gbps speed, as reported by the company this Friday in a statement.

Specifically, Vodafone will be present in the municipalities of Andalusia (116 municipalities), Valencian Community (90), Aragón (89), Castilla-La Mancha (67), Castilla y León (69), Catalonia (51), Madrid (36), among others.

Likewise, Vodafone has indicated that this expansion will be “especially relevant” in 94 of these municipalitiesin which there was no fiber coverage with the brand.

In addition, the telephone brand has indicated that with this initiative, Vodafone’s “total footprint” of fiber reaches 29.70 million real estate units, and has highlighted his “effort” to “ensure” access to an Internet connection in the country.

In this way, the brand’s fiber has rates from 300Mbps to 1Gbps, to access content on “any” device with high speed and no lag.
