He tennis has become one of the trends that we are going to see the most this summer. With premieres like Rivals and Zendaya’s looks Inspired by this sport, tennis approaches those who deny ‘old money’ with risky, innovative and original styles, but always with a protagonist: white.
Although it has become the latest trend in fashion, this discipline still has many lovers who do not want to miss the matches of the Mutua Madrid Open tournament. In the VIP boxes, we can find a large number of names who do not want to miss the final. Nieves Álvarez, Victoria Federica and Sandra Gago have shown us three looks endorsed by fashion experts to go to a tennis match, although other ‘celebrities’, like Teresa Urquijo, opted for less ‘protocol’ outfits.
Victoria Federica and the ‘push up’ pants
Victoria Federica opted for the sportier aesthetic within the ‘old money’ trend with a Lacoste polo ribbed knit, with a relaxed silhouette and the brand’s emblematic white and green stripes (€200/ref: AF6927-00). She accompanied the garment with a pearl necklace and sneakers from the same brand. However, the most special item of clothing is the pants.
In one of the photos, we see Victoria Federica from behind, allowing us to see the back of her look and, consequently, of her pants, with one of the most flattering cuts. Queen Letizia’s niece opted for light jeans with a ‘V’ seam above the buttockgetting a push up effect immediate.
Teresa Urquijo
After her honeymoon with José Luis Martínez-Almeida, Teresa Urquijo has landed in the capital to return to her new life with the mayor of Madrid, the tennis tournament being one of the first places in which they have been seen together after Wedding. To attend the final, Urquijo opted for a long boho style vest of Isato with a purple blouse and white pants.
Sandra Gago
After retiring from Tennis, Feliciano López dedicates himself completely to being director of the Mutua Madrid Open, which is why he could not miss the final without Sandra Gago, his wife and mother of his children. The model arrived with a khaki green suit combined with a gold medal and a white basic t-shirt, that managed to take away the seriousness of the look.
Najwa Nimri
Like Sharon Stone in the 90s, Najwa Nimri surprised us in the box with Victoria Federica with a style straight out of Hollywood. With its voluminous blonde hair, red lips and the black ‘total look’Nimri transformed into a true ‘femme fatale’.
Nieves Alvarez
After receiving the Grand Cross of the Order of the Second of May, Nieves Alvarez was seen with Bill Saad, president of Jota 2 Group, in the box and away from the bridal-inspired dress with which we saw her last time, the model opted for a simpler look, with a green blazer and an unbuttoned blue shirt.
