The Attorney General of Venezuela, Tarek William Saab, has announced that he will request arrest and extradition orders against the leaders of the opposition parties Voluntad Popular, Leopoldo Lopez and First Justice, Julio Borgeswithin the framework of the oil corruption plot called PDVSA-Cripto.

Saab has indicated that in the next few hours there will be an advance evidence hearing of the denunciation in which the confession would become full evidence by which López could obtain a reduced sentence, reports the Cocuyo Effect portal.

Saab explained that an allocation of oil shipments was carried out. “The minimum shipments were two million barrels per ship with an approximate value between 120 and 140 million dollars each, depending on the price they had on the market. And there was a second modality, where these contractors were required, instead of paying the price of crude oil, to send fuel or diluent to be mixed and produce oil in Venezuela,” Saab said.
