I orderThe Associació de Propietaris de Terres d’Andorra (APTA) has strengthened its legal department with the addition of three lawyers. As reports RTVAXavier Jordana, Bibiana Rosa and Sofia Garralà were in charge of drawing up the appeal that more than a hundred owners of the parish of Ordino signed against the POUP.
The secretary of the APTA, Jordi Cerqueda, declares that they will be attentive to the revision of the law and that they are concerned that the POUP could generate a domino effect in the rest of the parishes.
Xavier Jordana, one of the association’s lawyers, remembers that the POUP aims to convert land that was developable into non-developable. He argues that this is called “classifying land” and that it is a competence of the general law on territorial planning and urban planning since the year 2000. The commune can, according to its conclusions, classify land and set the parameters, but not change the rules of the game.
APTA and its legal team still trust that the municipality of Ordino will back down with the POUP, and demand that they be taken into account in decision-making.
