Andorra la VellaThe deadline to apply for school transport cards for the 2024-2025 academic year is now open. The subscription to this service can be requested by students in kindergarten, first education, second education (from a radius of one kilometer from the school center) and students of post-compulsory high school and professional training whose place of residence is outside public transport lines.
The deadline for registering school transport requests opens next Wednesday, April 25 and ends on June 28, which must be completed electronically at www.educacio.ad. However, for users who cannot make the request electronically, it is possible to make it in person at any formalities service (of the Government or of the communes) with a prior appointment.
The card prices for the next school year are 100.92 euros for one trip and 201.84 for two trips. These amounts are subsidized by the Government for a total of 83.07% of the actual cost of the school transport card, which is 1,192.13 euros per student. This subsidy comes from the set of actions carried out through the Green Fund, in accordance with the Energy Transition and Climate Change Act (Litecc).
It should be remembered that the beneficiaries of the entire school transport grant for the 2023-2024 academic year can apply for this aid again for the 2024-2025 academic year and, as before, they do not have to advance the amount of the school transport .
In the event that school transport requests are made outside the deadline, that is, from July 1, they must be formalized in person at any processing service and the corresponding prices are 181.46 for one trip and 362.92 for two trips. In this case, the executive subsidizes 69.56% of the actual cost of the school transport card.
