A WIFE and mom of two has shared her completely free laundry hack to make wash day that much simpler.
She said she learned the tip from her aunt and she’ll never go back to her old ways of cleaning sheets and towels.
Artificial Intelligence pro Jessica Cunningham, 35, spoke exclusively with The U.S. Sun about a Reel she posted to Instagram demonstrating the tried-and-true hack.
Her laundry day advice saves the energy of lugging a huge bulky detergent around.
It also may help reduce costs that can happen with leaky or otherwise faulty bottles.
The tip also created a level of convenience that can be much appreciated on wash day.
HOW TO SIMPLIFY LAUNDRY DAY
Cunningham pulled out a massive bottle of Tide laundry detergent, showing viewers on Instagram that there’s an easier way to go about it.
She poured some detergent into a water bottle with a sports nozzle on the top.
“Just get one of these,” she said, holding the Smart Water bottle. “Way more efficient.”
The idea is to have more control over applying the detergent while increasing convenience.
TOUGHEST JOB IN THE WORLD
As a mother of one baby and one seven-year-old, Cunningham is no stranger to laundry day woes.
For smaller items, she finds it simpler to use a laundry service — tackling the big guns herself.
“I actually outsource our clothes because I hate folding small things,” she told The U.S. Sun. “But I wash our towels, bath mats, and sheets.”
When it comes to getting blemishes out of her laundry — one truly leaves a mark.
“Toughest stains are ink stains,” Cunningham said. “My seven-year-old loves to draw, but one careless move and it’s on there.
“And if I don’t see it and have it washed — it’s there forever.”
BACK IN THE USA
After living in Europe for some time, Cunningham discovered the tip upon returning home to the US.
“I do so many small loads that it’s a pain lifting the heavy container or if I use the cup it will either get messy or I have to throw it in the load then I hear that cup banging around,” she said.
“So, when I was living with my aunt when we moved back to the states I was so impressed by such a simple solution — duh a smaller bottle.
“And the sports type spout made so much sense.”

She also added that the laundry hack helped her save some coin in the long run.
“I’m still saving money by getting a bulk priced item, but having the convenience of a smaller bottle,” she said.
