Megan Fox shared a series of selfies to Instagram Wednesday, showing off an interesting makeup choice that included fake, sparkly tears.
“👽 don’t cry tears we cry diamonds,” she captioned the post, which featured multiple shots of the star, 37, staring at the camera with a sad expression as trails of glitter surrounded her eyes.
“This is so tumblr 2014 coded,” one commenter noted in the comments, while Facebook’s official Instagram account wrote “Megan is bringing back grunge 🙌”
The tearful moment was actually the look the “Jennifer’s Body” actress sported to attend a birthday party for her ex-fiancé Machine Gun Kelly, who turned 34 on April 22.
Despite confirming that the two had called off their engagement, Fox was photographed at the bash, smiling as she crouched down next to the “Bloody Valentine” singer.
The rapper shared the shot in a carousel on Instagram, along with photos of himself partying with Post Malone and other friends.
For the celebration, Fox chose to layer multiple chain chokers around her neck, and opted for her signature smokey eye and bold lashes.
She also continued to rock her new, bold, blue hair, which popped against her all-black outfit and perhaps unintentionally coordinated with the birthday boy’s blue Nelly T-shirt.
Recently, Fox left fans divided after she chose to embrace her natural beauty and share a makeup-free selfie.
While most praised the mom of three for going bare-faced, calling out how good she looked, others didn’t get the hype.
Back in March, the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” star opened up about all the plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures she’s had over the years.
Speaking with Alexandra Cooper on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, Fox confirmed she’s had three breast augmentations and one nose job, along with Botox and filler.
