Jake Paul Continues Criticism of UFC’s Dana White Over Fighter Compensation

Paul’s Feud With The UFC Is About His Opposition To Their Low Pay

Boxer and YouTube personality Jake Paul has intensified his critique of UFC President Dana White and the organization’s handling of fighter pay. Paul has repeatedly accused White of mistreating UFC athletes, citing lack of job security, inadequate medical coverage, and restricted opportunities for fighters both inside and outside the Octagon.

The 27-year-old has not shied away from publicly denouncing White and top UFC executives, alleging they disproportionately benefit from the promotion’s earnings. Despite occasional responses from White, who has rebuked Paul for his disparaging remarks, the controversy remains ongoing.

In a recent appearance on the Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson podcast, Paul reiterated his stance, acknowledging White’s role in building the UFC into a global powerhouse. However, he argued that the UFC’s financial success should translate into higher minimum pay for fighters. Paul proposed a minimum salary of $50,000, asserting that such a raise could significantly improve the quality of life for many UFC athletes, particularly those in lower weight classes.
