TAYLOR Swift’s Scots namesake baffled airport staff as she headed on holiday — until she showed them our report on her superstar moniker.
She told how check-in workers at airline Jet2 were suspicious of her passport but our coverage convinced them it was genuine.

The 19-year-old, of Newarthill, Lanarkshire, who flew from Glasgow to Turkey for a two-week family break on Friday, said: “They have to make sure my name is actually right.
“Having the newspaper in my hand now will help.”
We revealed Taylor is the only Scot ever born with the same name as the Shake It Off singer.
Teen Taylor, a huge fan of the US idol, 34, said: “It’s nervewracking. I’m always waiting on somebody saying, ‘That ain’t your name’.”
She now plans to sing tracks by her idol at karaoke bars on her sunshine break in the seaside resort of Marmaris.
She added: “I’ll probably get a lot of attention.
“My favourite songs are Love Story and Anti-Hero. I’m going to get drunk and sing karaoke.”
Taylor revealed that spreading the word she shares her name with Swift, who will play three huge shows in Edinburgh in June, has been positive.
We told last week how prospective employers are sceptical when they see her name on application forms, making it difficult for Taylor to find work.
She added: “This has made my life better by people realising and believing me that my name is Taylor Swift.”
Last night, James Pieslak of Jet2 said: “Our team were delighted to welcome Taylor — who had a swift check-in.
“We wish her a lovely holiday and will keep an eye out for her name, so we can give her a VIP welcome once again.”
