Mary (@mehree.b) shared the interior design project in a viral TikTok video.

She explained that she wanted to install a giant mirror on a blank wall in her home.

Instead of breaking the bank to hire professionals for her renovation, she decided to take matters into her own hands.

The interior expert wanted to execute the dramatic transformation while on a budget.

“I wanted a big mirror on a budget and created this. Viola. $7 mirrors from Target,” Mary said.

She ordered fifteen $7 framed door mirrors from Target and got to work.

With some help, a ladder, and a nail gun, she installed the large framed mirror three times her height in a five-by-three rectangle on her wall.

The $105 mirror display covered her entire wall from top to bottom and reflected her large staircase.

Many were impressed with how much money she saved with her quick thinking.

“Everyone complaining that it’s a $105 don’t realize that this could’ve been a $5,000 mirror job,” said one commenter.

Some added that the $5,000 estimate even seemed low.

“It could have been $20,000…. I don’t know what you’re trying to say,” replied another.

Many agreed that the project was extremely cost-effective and elevated her home.

“Y’all don’t realize how cheap $105 is for that and it really opened up the space!” said one commenter.

“This is so smart. Big mirrors are so expensive for no reason,” said another.

Some thought the project looked a lot more fancy than many might expect.

“Damn she looks EXPENSIVE,” said one viewer.

“It looks so expensive. Money well spent,” agreed another.

“Okay it’s over $100 but like for that? That is GORGEOUS and a great deal,” praised a third.

While some thought she should’ve removed the frames for a more cohesive look, others felt the frames were a nice touch.

“Leaving the frames on was the perfect aesthetic choice!” said a viewer.

One thought the frames worked well to jazz up her barren white wall.

“I usually don’t like modern things but this is just WOW!” they said.
