The publication, this Saturday early in the morning, on the official account of the Government Delegation in Madrid, of the call for the demonstration in favor of Pedro Sanchez and his wife Begoña Gómez on Ferraz Street, has sparked controversy on the networks.
Several PP politicians have criticized the Delegation for having published the call, but this body has responded in a press release where it has spoken of “hoaxes” and “interested misinformation.”
In the note, the Delegation highlights that all manifestations that affect the development of activity in the Community of Madrid are “communicated” on their social networks, “regardless of the organizers and the purpose of the demonstration.”
Given the serious accusations launched on social networks against the communication policy of this Delegation and the Government of Spain, we issue the following statement: pic.twitter.com/UVR1xUgvJR

“The information included in the publication, including motivation, is the one provided by the conveners in the communication sent to this Delegation”, they add.
In the statement they point out that “everything else is hoaxes and self-serving misinformation with a clear function: confuse and delegitimize to this Delegation and to the Government of Spain”.
On social network X, the Government delegate of the Community of Madrid, Francisco Martin, has published a message asking people to stop “lying, poisoning, rotting” in order to stop “making a fool of themselves.” “You are not going to be able to destroy democracy,” she added.
