Andorra la VellaGuillem Casalminister and spokesman of Governmenthas confirmed this afternoon that ex officio inspections will be carried out at different companies and establishments to detect cases of labor abuse.
“Obviously, if it is necessary to open a disciplinary file, we will do so in accordance with these ex officio inspections”
Casal has confirmed a meeting last Friday between the executive, the Secretary of State, Jordi Puymembers of the labor department and the Mr. castle as a representative of the Peruvian community a Andorra where the whole situation was laid out. Government has contacted Peru to convey that work is being done on this matter.
“It is a situation that concerns us and we will work to find out what the facts are that have occurred” and affirms that the labor department sees fit to carry out ex officio inspections due to the lack of complaints by workers.
