The spokesperson for the Federal Executive of the PSOE, Esther Penastated this Saturday that in the Federal Committee that meets this morning “we put our foot on the wall” to defend the president of the Government because “Pedro Sánchez’s resistance has a limit.”
Peña made these statements upon arriving at the socialist headquarters on Ferraz Street in Madrid to attend the meeting of the highest body between congresses held by the PSOE with the purpose of inspiring encouragement Sánchez to continue as President of the Government after the admission to processing of a complaint against his wife for influence peddling.
In his opinion, this day is “very exciting for socialists and democrats” because it means showing that there exists in Spain “a social majority who wants a healthy and decent democracy” and the PSOE wants to demonstrate this with rallies in the streets throughout the country.
“It is not possible that we have normalized the insult, that the use of public funds has been normalized to spy on families who are dedicated to politics,” he assured.
Furthermore, Peña has made a call to “shrink the space for all those that sow fear and they have dedicated themselves to being a torment for the people of our country.
