The lawyer and son of the president of the Constitutional Court, Cándido Conde-Pumpido, Cándido Conde-Pumpido Varela, 43, was arrested this Friday at noon by the Civil Guard in Madrid for threats and attempted murder.
The agents have transferred the lawyer to the offices of the Armed Institute where he has been arrested for an alleged crime of sexist violence.
The lawyer, according to Europa Press, was denounced by a woman who had been threatened by him while both were traveling in a vehicle on the A-6 and that he had tried to kill her.
Conde-Pumpido was denounced last November by a woman, who accused him of sexually assaulting her in his house, in a neighborhood of the capital. The woman finally withdrew the complaint.
