COUNTRY music star Robert Mizzell headlines what can now be officially called Kildavin/Clonegal GAA’s annual country music dance.
The event has been a huge success in recent years and this year also promises to be an unmissable night with music, dancing and fun guaranteed on Sunday 5 May (bank holiday weekend) in Spellman Park, Kildavin. Doors open at 7.30pm.
The wonderful Stacey Breen is once again the support act, back by popular demand.
The event will feature a large dance floor and large car park, while food will also be available. A seating area will be provided for those who want to sit back and enjoy the music. The country music night will have a fully-licensed bar, kindly provide by Conway’s of Kildavin.
Tickets cost €25 and are available on Eventbrite and at the following outlets: Conway’s bar, Kildavin; Kavanagh’s bar and Centra, Ballon; Dunne’s bar, Osborne’s bar and Plunkett’s shop in Clonegal; Steamers shop and Texaco, Bunclody; Candy’s, Carnew; Solar Signs, Bagenalstown and Osborne’s Daybreak, Ferns.
Tickets can also be had from Kildavin/Clonegal GAA through its social media platforms or any committee member.
“Check out our socials also for some ticket giveaways, which are happening in the week leading up to the night itself,” said committee member Wayne Austin.
“We are getting great help from our volunteers, which stretch across our GAA, LGFA and camogie clubs, in preparation of the event. Without them, the night simply doesn’t happen,” he added.
“And again this year, Brian O’Neill from the county board is our event controller and has been outstanding in his role; we can’t speak highly enough of his contribution,” said Wayne.
The club is looking forward to another fantastic night of music and dance, and it’s a great opportunity for all in the community to enjoy a social night out together.
