Caleb Williams and girlfriend Alina Thyregod kept the celebrations rolling Thursday night after the Bears selected the former USC quarterback with the top pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
In a post shared on her Instagram Stories, Thyregod — who made her red-carpet debut with the 22-year-old Williams in Detroit — could be seen wearing a Bears cap and smiling beside a gal pal, who rocked the same accessory.
“Go bearssss!!” Thyregod captioned the post, which Williams subsequently re-shared on his own page.
It was an exciting night for Williams, who had long been projected to go No. 1 to the Bears.
The Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback arrived at the draft with Thyregod on his arm, with the couple turning heads in their sleek ensembles.
Williams opted for a navy double-breasted suit from Chrome Hearts, while Thyregod stunned in a silver dress from the label.
Leading up to this year’s NFL draft, Williams teased what to expect from the couple on the big day.
“Wait till yall see draft day suit and my ladies dress. 1 of 1s,” he posted on X earlier this month.
It’s unclear how long Williams and Thyregod have been together, but he appeared in a TikTok video on her page back in January.
It was a big night for the Bears, who also added a weapon for Williams in the form of former Washington wide receiver Rome Odunze with the ninth overall pick.
Williams and Odunze, 21, traveled on the same flight from Los Angeles to Detroit for the draft.
When asked what they can accomplish together as teammates, Oduzne said, “Amazing things.”
“It’s going to take a lot of work and a lot of dedication, but, you know, from the glimpses that I’ve been able to hang out with him, I can tell he has that determination the same as I. So, I’m excited to get there, be a part of the team and go strive for something special,” he said.
Odunze’s longtime girlfriend, Alannah Davidson, also celebrated the moment in an Instagram Story, posting, “Go Bears.”
The Bears will select again in Friday’s third round (No. 75) and Saturday’s fourth round (No. 122).
