BUMBLEBEE 1000 is ready for its first event of 2024 as it kicks off the Lough Leane Roadtrip and once again proceeds from this event will go to the Little Blue Heroes charity.
At any one time, there are 1,400 critically ill children in Ireland with an additional 400 seriously ill kids diagnosed each year.
And this charity, that’s voluntarily led by Garda members, provides vital support to the families of the children.
This weekend’s two-day adventure will feature 50 of the finest supercars in Ireland, with Lamborghini, McLaren, Mercedes, Porsche, Ferrari, BMW and many more represented.
The Lough Leane Roadtrip will start at Barberstown Castle in Co Kildare, roaring into life from 9am.
The supercar convoy will make its way to the Portlaoise Plaza, Junction 17 on the M7, arriving around 11am.
There you will get to see the supercars in all their glory as they fuel up and get ready for the next leg.
The Cashel Palace Hotel, on Main St in Tipperary, is where Bumblebee 1000 will be stopping for a spot of lunch, arriving around 1pm.
And then it’s off to the Europe Hotel & Resort, Fossa, Killarney in Co Kerry, where the Bumblebee crew will arrive at 5pm and spend the night.
On Sunday morning the cars will be ready for action again, leaving the Europe Hotel & Resort at 10am and making their way to Tarbert Island in Co Kerry, where they will meet up at Tarbert Pier at 11am.
Bumblebee 1000 will be at a Cars & Coffee event in the ferry car park where you can see even more cool cars.
Then it’s time to hit the road again for the last leg of their epic roadtrip to the Dunraven Arms Hotel, Main St, Adare in Co Limerick, arriving at 2pm.
The Lough Leane Roadtrip is the warm-up event for Bumblebee’s main event — The Fast and Furious Roadtrip.
This three-day adventure will feature 100 supercars and it takes place from June 14-16.
