WWE has a big decision to make when it comes to The Bloodline being rebuilt. It sounds like one choice has them second-guessing themselves.
Highlights
- Speculation over Jacob Fatu’s addition to The Bloodline has WWE creative team concerned over overshadowing Solo Sikoa’s leadership.
- Jacob Fatu’s experience and charisma could make him a dominant force in the group, potentially outshining Solo Sikoa.
- WWE is taking its time in deciding whether to add Fatu to ensure it benefits the group without diminishing Sikoa’s role.
As The Bloodline is rebuilt in WWE, new members are joining on a regular basis. There’s speculation another member isn’t far from being added to the group, but according to an online source that has a habit of breaking behind-the-scenes reports, WWE might be having second thoughts.
Popular X.com account @WrestleVotes posted the following:
Interesting tidbit here: sources suggest that Solo Sikoa’s recent aggressive streak is part of a strategy to establish him as ‘the’ main force within this new phase of the Bloodline, ahead of Jacob Fatu’s debut. However, some trepidation remains within creative over fear that Fatu’s presence could outshine Solo at this stage.
Jacob Fatu has been rumored to be joining the group for a few weeks and many fans were surprised when Tonga Loa joined at Backlash and not Fatu. Known as a dominant and scary force, he would be a huge addition to The Bloodline and make the group nearly unstoppable. However, he’s got that “it” quality and incredible charisma. He’s arguably also a better wrestler because he’s far more experienced than Solo Sikoa and that has some in WWE concerned that Sikoa will suffer as a result.
WWE Has Brilliantly Introduced The Next Chapter Of The Bloodline Saga
A shocking SmackDown segment saw Solo Sikoa take over The Bloodline and the debut of Tama Tonga. What’s next for WWE’s biggest faction?
It’s a huge decision that WWE wants to make sure they get right. Ultimately, they might pull the trigger on Fatu joining, but it could take a little longer than expected, just to ensure they’ve covered their bases and are making the right call for the betterment of the group and the Sikoa character they are trying to build. Putting time and effort into Sikoa as a leader, only for fans to overlook him isn’t what WWE is going for.
What Would Really Happen If Fatu Joins The Bloodline?
The reality is, that Fatu being a huge force is better for The Bloodline in the long run. If he overshadows Sikoa, it’s not that much different than when The Rock overshadowed Farooq in the Nation of Domination. The group still works and WWE simply pivots. If he doesn’t overshadow Sikoa, the group becomes more powerful and legitimate. Fans are arguing that The Bloodline now has the cool factor, but it doesn’t include any major stars. Without Roman Reigns or The Rock, the group has taken a big step backward. The group could use another injection of energy.
