The president of Canary Islands, Fernando Clavijohas indicated that the current regional Executive “it’s his turn to govern” and “no” is going to be in the “and you more.” These statements come after this Thursday the National Police register the headquarters of the Regional Council of Health for the masks in the Koldo case, which investigates the four million euros paid during the pandemic to a company for one million masks that were not received.
“I have always determined, the political part is in Parliament, in the commissions, where it has to be determined; the judicial part, in the courts, total collaboration of the government, as we are demonstrating, and it is our turn to govern, we are not going to be in it and you no longer,” he pointed out to journalists when questioned about this issue.
In this sense, he clarified that at “some point this cycle had to be broken“, to add that the government he leads “is being respectful of the work of justice and Parliament”, ensuring that they are doing what they have committed themselves to and what the citizens have put them to do, “which is to govern and try to do things as best as possible.”
