Unions and associations expect 3,000 people for the May 1 demonstration

Andorra la VellaThe convening unions anticipate the participation of more than 3,000 people in a protest demonstration at 7 p.m., according to RTVA. The route will start from Plaça Coprínceps and pass through several important streets, ending at Plaça del Poble.

It has been recommended to avoid driving through the center of Escaldes and Andorra la Vella between 7pm and 9pm. Citizens see this day as an opportunity to defend workers’ rights, remembering past struggles and highlighting problems such as housing that still need attention.
