The Local Government Board of the Toledo City Council approved this Tuesday an important novelty for your bus service. Thus, the administration will implement validators in urban buses that allow pay with bank card thanks to European funds Next Generation for an amount of 309,370 euros.
The City Council received this subsidy in May 2023, associated with the purchase of ten electric vehicles. However, for the moment only the acquisition of three of them has been authorized by value of 1,815,000 eurosas reported Toledo Diario.
The acquisition of these vehicles is also linked to another agreement adopted by the local government. This has also awarded the service of Street lighting to CompañÃa de Eficiencia y Servicios Integrals, SL for an amount of 5,195,816.68 euros to be carried out over a period of three years.
Likewise, a modification has also been approved in the contract for street cleaning and other municipal spaces, waste collection and transportation. This supposes a 1.26% price increase initial contract, which consists of 79,996,079.68 euros.
Other of the modifications exposed is a clarification of a gap that has occurred in a document of contract conditions of Valoriza Servicios, relative to the cost of transporting waste, according to the same source.
