At least three people were arrested this Tuesday morning in Vigo for their alleged connection with the theft of 300,000 euros from a bank of Gran Vía street, committed in December.
According to sources familiar with the investigation consulted, the arrests occurred early in the morning, after carrying out a registration on Ramón Nieto street of the olive city.
As the newspaper has announced Vigo Lighthousethe three detainees would be related to a robbery with firearms in a CaixaBank branch on December 10, 2023. After taking the large loot, the robbers fled.
Since then, the National Police authorities have been looking for the assailants. For now, the case is under summary secrecy and the operation remains open.
