Andorra la VellaThe Police arrested two women, 23 and 39 years old and non-residents, on Monday afternoon in Pas de la Casa, as alleged perpetrators of property crimes for thefts from several perfumeries in the town of Encampada.
It was the workers of one of the affected establishments who gave the warning when they recognized them. The perfumery had denounced the two women at the end of March for having stolen about thirty chests with a cost price of more than 1,800 euros. That same day, a short time later, they would have stolen ten more perfumes valued at nearly 700 euros from another store in the chain.
As soon as the Police were alerted on Monday that the women had returned, the search began and they were located, identified and arrested minutes later once all the necessary checks had been made. They were traveling in a vehicle with French registration, inside which were found four perfumes, which they had stolen from other shops, and a tool to remove alarms. Because of the way they had to proceed, the Police suspect that they could have acted on previous occasions.
