The Williams brothers were the guests this Monday at The resistancea program they attended on the occasion of having won the Copa del Rey with Athletic Club after 40 years and, in which they left several moments of humor, especially when they talked about the celebration of the Gabarra.
“We were all lollipops. There were quite a few people affected,” Nico said. Iñaki corroborated this: “On the Gabarra journey we were drinking beer like animals, enjoying something historical. Seeing it in situ exceeded all expectations. There were more than a million people in Bilbao. It was crazy.”
Likewise, the youngest Williams also dared to tell who he considered to be most harmed: “Unai Gómez. How he hits the pacifier. And look, I told him: Calm down, then we have to go to City Hall. Iñaki stated that this type of attitude must stop on football fields: “We are idols and references for many people. I don’t go to a theater and insult anyone. In football it seems that all this is allowed, this sport transmits much more positive values. “We must nip this in the bud, impose exemplary fines and these things should not be allowed.”
