The Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, armed wing of Hamaspublished this Saturday a new video with images of the hostages Keith Siegel and Omri Miran, who ask the Israeli Government negotiate an agreement for his release.
Siegel, 64, and Miran, 46, appear in an undated video in which they refer to the recent Jewish Passover, a family celebration, and mention that They have been held for 202 dayswhen this Saturday marks 204 days of the Palestinian group’s offensive on Israeli territory.
“The situation here is not pleasant. It’s hard. There are many bombings. Sometimes we have the feeling that it is getting worse. I ask the prime minister and the entire government to participate in the negotiations,” says the American-Israeli Siegel.
In addition, they ask to “do everything possible and pressure and continue with the protests” to force an agreement. “I have seen the demonstrations several times in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem,” Siegel added.
For their part, the Israeli authorities have systematically condemned the publication of this type of videos, which they consider a tool of psychological warfare used by Hamas. However, relatives of the kidnapped people have urged the Government after the recording was revealed to choose between Rafá or the release of the hostages in a new attempt to force an agreement.

“The State of Israel has to choose: hostages or war. Entering Rafah will bring us more hostages killed in captivity or their death in war. Entering Rafah will be another path to death of the hostages. “Israel must choose the return of the hostages,” they argued.
