“The PSOE is using illegal financing”

He PP has reported to the Central Electoral Board (JEC) that he Sociological Research Center (CIS) have made a quick survey about the menu published by the President of the Government, Pedro Sanchezwith which he announced that he was clearing his public agenda until Monday to reflect on whether he would resign from office.

The formation justifies its complaint to the Board because it sees the questions as a type of “illegal financing” by the PSOE in the middle of the electoral campaign in Catalonia. “The Popular Party denounces the illegal financing that the PSOE is using to ask Pedro Sánchez to continue in his position as President of the Government,” says the party led by Alberto Núñez Feijóo.

In this way, the PP denounces that the Center is asking questions that are “absolutely manipulated with the objective of offer a distorted vision of social reality”, in reference to Sánchez’s letter, and then “provide the data to the PSOE”.

Furthermore, the ‘popular’ also denounce that the CIS of Jose Felix Tezanos is including in its surveys “manipulated” questions about the level of political tension and on the functioning of Justice in Spain.

With this panorama, the PP demands the “immediate stop” of the interviews and delivery of the questionnaire to all political groups. “If the PSOE wants to pressure its general secretary with manipulated polls, let them pay for them,” the PP points out.

“Poll manipulation”

To these protests, the formation adds an alleged “manipulation in the vote estimation” in practically all electoral processes since the socialist militant José Félix Tezanos presides over the CIS. Also that in the framework of the Catalan elections, the pre-electoral surveys published in the middle of the campaign they are hiding the vote estimate and seats in each constituency.

The PP thus demands that the CIS make public the microdata of the pre-electoral survey of the elections to the Parliament of Catalonia, since They say they are not being published “for the first time in two decades” and the Center d’Estudis d’Opinió de la Generalitat has published them.
