Andorra la VellaA part of Ripollès has been without mobile coverage or internet since Thursday night following a theft of an optical fiber cable, which has interrupted the service. This has been confirmed by Telefónica and collected on 3/24, which assures that it is working on it and that in some sectors the service has already begun to recover.
The point of incidence is between Ripoll and Sant Joan de les Abadesses. According to the Ripollès County Council, the Movistar mobile network has stopped working, as well as the fiber optic network of Movistar, Orange and Vodafone, in a large part of the region, except in areas of the Camprodon valley and its nearby municipalities, which receive the signal from La Garrotxa.
