IRISH parents are rushing to Penneys to snap up Stacey Solomon’s latest kidswear collection – and it includes gorgeous sun dresses, cute dungarees and cool shorts.
The fashion giant took to Instagram, posting under @primark, to reveal a clip of the summer range.

They said: “Think vibrant prints, smart co-ords and embroidered detailing, Stacey is back for her seventh collection.”
The new range includes swimwear, shorts, summer dresses, rompers, co-ords and shoes.
A Penneys spokesperson said: “Serving up major holiday vibes, palm prints are perfect for your little ones at home and away, making a statement at all summer occasions.
“Combined with coconut details and pastel colours, Stacey has injected this stand-out motif onto her new kidswear summer dresses, rompers and co-ords, and we’re obsessed.”
A standout piece in the collection is the Stacey Solomon Tiered Dress.
Its description reads: “We’re loving the flora and coconut patterning, coupled with the ever-so-wearable neutral backdrop and crinkle fabric – a creative twist on classic tropical designs, don’t you think?
“Boasting a round neck, short sleeves, a keyhole back fastening plus tiered skirt, simply team it with white chunky trainers for a casual, cute OOTD that you and your youngster will both adore.”
The tropical print dress, retailing at €10, is stocked in sizes 1.5 years to 12 years old.
For the boys there’s the Co-ord Stacey Solomon Button-Up Shirt and Shorts.
The tropic shirt and shorts are a bargain €8 each.
Penneys chiefs said: “Arriving in the Stacey Solomon clothing range, we’re loving the low-key neutral backdrop that’s covered in playful tropic flora and coconut patterning.
“Fitted with a revere collar, rolled short sleeves, a button fastening front and crisp straight hem, why not team it with the complementary shorts for a smart casual OOTD that’s coordinated and compliment ready, whatever occasion they wear it to?”
For little ones, the Stacey Solomon Dungarees are a steal at €10.
Their description reads: “Designed with a square neck, thicker shoulder straps, wooden-style button details and a kangaroo pouch pocket on its front, it’s just as practical as it is pretty.”
Other must-haves include the Stacey Solomon Ruffle Swimsuit just €7, Stacey Solomon Floral Playsuit costing €12 and the Stacey Solomon Zip-Up Hoodie only €12.
Followers took to the comments and said they love the new collection.

THE HISTORY OF PENNEYS
THE Penneys brand grew from humble beginnings on Dublin’s Mary Street, where it opened its first store in 1969.
Known as Primark outside Ireland, the company was the brainchild of Garfield Weston, who hired Dubliner Arthur Ryan to make his vision reality.
Penneys branched into the UK in 1973 with its first store opening in Derby. The UK now has 191 Primark stores in total.
However, the Penneys name could not travel to Britain as the American retailer JC Penney had the right to use the name in the region.
And in 2006, the expansion into Europe began with an opening in Spain, followed by the Netherlands, Portugal, Germany, Belgium, Austria, France and Italy.
Primark went Stateside for the first time in September 2015, with the opening of a store in Boston. There are now 27 stores in America with branches in Florida, Brooklyn, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
The retailer’s opened its largest store in Birmingham in 2019.
It spans five floors and features Primark’s biggest beauty studio to date, a barbers and three restaurants.
