As time goes on, Seth Rollins receives more and more respect for his in-ring work, being one of the main constants in WWE over the last decade who can always be counted upon to steal the show time after time after time. In truth, you could make an unending list of Seth Rollins bangers with how often he churns out a good match, so it makes sense to take a renewed look at even more of his best matches in WWE. The last few years have shown that he is still someone who will steal the show on any given night and against any given opponent.

13 Seth Rollins Vs. John Cena, WWE SummerSlam 2015

Seth Rollins and John Cena displayed some wonderful chemistry here. Rollins provided a counter to almost everything Cena threw at him, leading Cena to pull out some interesting moves out of his locker, which made for a thrilling encounter between these two individuals. From Rollins’ wonderful attire to the stakes being high as it was contested for both the WWE and United States Titles, this had all the makings of a classic. And then… the finish. Jon Stewart interfered to give Rollins the win in an awful ending, and it did ruin what could have been among SummerSlam’s greatest bouts. The other 95% of the action was enough to still make it up there with Rollins’ best though.

12 Randy Orton & Riddle Vs. Seth Rollins & Kevin Owens Vs. Alpha Academy (WWE RAW 03/07/2022)

On the Road To WrestleMania 38, Seth Rollins teamed with Kevin Owens to challenge two fantastic duos for the RAW Tag Team Championships in a brilliant bout. This had an electric pace, a lot of chaos, and an invested crowd who got to witness a TV show-stealer. It is little surprise when seeing the six men involved, but this had non-stop great in-ring work. The stories were there but not overly prevalent, with this being more about the spots and sequences.

11 Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose Vs. Drew McIntyre & Dolph Ziggler, WWE Hell In A Cell 2018

The chemistry displayed by these four men was off the charts, and it led to what was a great and star-studded clash for the Raw Tag Team Championships. It had a slow start but as the pace quickened the crowd got more invested, and it led to one hell of a closing stretch. False finishes, tandem offense, and Drew McIntyre looking like an absolute beast all led to this being a show-stealing affair. Some truly world class sequences took place here, and this one should certainly be talked about more.

10 Seth Rollins Vs. Cody Rhodes, WWE WrestleMania 38 Saturday

Cody Rhodes was the focus of the match here due to him returning to WWE after several years away from the promotion. The match wasn’t pretty at times, with Rhodes shrugging off some ring rust and finding his feet again, but it certainly had a big match feel. The crowd was electric for everything Rhodes did, and Rollins was the perfect dance partner for his re-introduction to the company. There wasn’t too much story to this, but the action inside the ring and the occasion of WrestleMania ensured that this was a memorable encounter full of big moves and great moments.

9 Team Cody Vs. Judgment Day (WWE Survivor Series 2023)

WWE team of ultimate babyfaces joined forces in this story-filled WarGames match. Seth Rollins played his part well, adding some great in-ring quality to what was a fine-tuned and super smooth match. It may not have had the violence as some past WarGames matches, but the crowd were invested in the dynamics of those involved, such as Drew McIntyre, Sami Zayn, Jey Uso, and others. Randy Orton’s return served as a great moment, and the post-match comeback of CM Punk was crazy too.

8 Austin Theory Vs. Seth Rollins Vs. Bronson Reed Vs. Johnny Gargano Vs. Montez Ford Vs. Damian Priest (Elimination Chamber 2023)

The United States Championship was on the line in this thrilling Elimination Chamber match, in which every single person in this bout got a chance to shine and showcase their skillset. This had great athleticism, breathtaking spots, and fluid sequences, making for a great modern day Chamber match, which can be hard to do considering how many of these matches fans have seen over the years. Rollins’ role in this was strong, adding star power to the match and having a big role to play in the finish too.

7 Seth Rollins Vs. AJ Styles, WWE Money In The Bank 2019

Seth Rollins and AJ Styles put on their best technical heads for this one, having a crisp and perfectly executed professional wrestling match. They worked in tandem to create a beautifully performed masterpiece, and even though this did lack some intensity and storytelling, it was still a wonderful bout. There was counter after counter, including a notable Curb Stomp counter into a Styles Clash, which was absolutely insane, popping the crowd. It certainly did suffer from a lack of a big fight feel as the result was predictable, but in a vacuum the in-ring action was top class.

6 The Shield Vs. Evolution, WWE Extreme Rules 2014

The Shield clashed with Evolution in a battle of eras, and it truly felt like a passing of the torch. The veterans used their experience early on to corner their opponents and methodically dish out punishment, but the younger and more explosive wrestlers in The Shield finally broke out and brought the match up to their pace. It led to a wild brawl which saw a memorable spot as Seth Rollins jumped from higher up into the crowd onto his opponents. The Shield would ultimately win an exciting and chaotic multi-man match.

5 Seth Rollins Vs. Edge, WWE Crown Jewel 2021

Seth Rollins and Edge completed a hugely personal feud which ended here in a Hell in a Cell match at Crown Jewel 2021. It was a feud fitting of the stipulation, and they loved up to the brutality of it. It was a great mix of both intense and physical action, but also the spot-fest style that modern day Cell matches often undertake. Edge in particular put in a great character driven performance, with him being driven to a darker place in his attempts to finally silence the sadistic Rollins after years of animosity.

4 The Shield Vs. Team Hell No & Ryback, WWE TLC 2012

Seth Rollins’ main roster WWE debut came in a Tables, Ladders, & Chairs trios match as The Shield took on the babyface trio of Daniel Bryan, Kane, and Ryback. Rollins put in a top class performance here, with his world class high flying offense on full show, in addition to a crazy bump off a massive ladder and through several tables. The rest of the match was glorious chaos too, with lots of weapons, great sequences, and a stunning crowd who greeted the new stars with a lot of love and praise.

3 The Shield Vs. The Wyatt Family, WWE Elimination Chamber 2014

Two red-hot factions went toe to toe here in an electric encounter, with the crowd going insane for just the face-off between these two strongly booked stables. At the time, both acts were at the height of their popularity, and they delivered a classic. It was one of the best trios matches of all time in WWE, with every man getting a chance to shine. The Shield were the underdogs for the first time here, and they played these roles perfectly. Rollins put in a fast-paced performance here, going at 100mph throughout the whole match to try and chop down the much larger Wyatt Family.

2 Seth Rollins Vs. Cody Rhodes, WWE Hell In A Cell 2022

Much like their other matches, Cody Rhodes was the focus of this match here, and the reason this time around was due to his legit and visibly torn pec. His real pain was evident, but the two worked around it in a world class manner. Rollins both protected Rhodes but also targeted the injury to upkeep the tension and authenticity of the match, and it ended up with a breathtaking piece of professional wrestling. Rhodes was a gutsy performer who looked superhuman as he pulled out a star-making win.

1 Seth Rollins Vs. Brock Lesnar Vs. John Cena, WWE Royal Rumble 2015

One of the best triple threat matches in WWE history took place at the 2015 Royal Rumble, as Seth Rollins took on Brock Lesnar and John Cena. Cena played his usual underdog self, overcoming his opponents and pulling out feats of strength. Lesnar was portrayed like an absolute monster, absorbing an insane amount of punishment and still emerging with the win. Rollins was the star of this though, putting his body on the line and working fluidly with two mega stars in his first major world title test on a big stage. The match had a perfect structure and incredible pacing. It is the best of Rollins’ WWE career for sure.
