Sami Zayn has been on quite a roll in WWE the past few years. He did some phenomenal character work as the Honorary Uce in the Bloodline. He headlined night one of WrestleMania 39 as he and his best friend Kevin Owens were the ones to finally take down the Usos for their Undisputed Tag Team Championships. At this year’s WrestleMania 40, he did the impossible again, beating Gunther to become Intercontinental Champion. If that’s not enough, Sami Zayn is ready to add another accomplishment to his resume: stand-up comedian.

When Chad Gable turned heel and attacked Sami Zayn on Raw in front of his wife, many WWE fans were upset, including Charles Barkley.
Sami Zayn Is Going To Perform At ‘Netflix Is A Joke’
Back in April, it was reported that Sami Zayn would perform at the “Netflix is a Joke” comedy festival on May 11 for a show called “Sami Zayn & Friends”. Zayn took to Twitter/X to say:
“So excited about this! I will be doing a live comedy show as part of
@NetflixIsAJoke
Festival in LA.”
Netflix is now promoting it, with the show scheduled for May 11 at 7:30 pm at the Avalon Hollywood in Los Angeles. If you want to go, you had better hurry, for the show has a “Low Ticket Warning”. Zayn tweeted about it again, saying:
“This is only a few days away now. I think this it’s going to go very, very well, but there’s definitely room for it to go very, very badly too. That’s The Sami Zayn Way TM. Really excited.”
Why Sami Zayn Was The Right Person To Beat Gunther
At WrestleMania 40, Sami Zayn shocked the wrestling world and made history by being the one to defeat Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship.
Sami Zayn Isn’t The First WWE Superstar To Try Stand-Up Comedy
Sami Zayn isn’t the first WWE superstar to take a stab at stand-up. Former WWE Superstar Dolph Ziggler has done many shows, as has WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley. While it may seem odd at first that Sami Zayn would want to do it too, if you think about it for a minute, it makes perfect sense. He was hilarious as El Generico in Ring of Honor, and he often got members of the Bloodline to crack in segments when he was with them. We wish him the best of luck, but knowing Sami Zayn, he’s not going to need it.
