Randy Orton returned to in-ring action back at WWE’s Survivor Series last year, giving him the chance to experience what working under Triple H’s creative leadership is like. While everyone has their own opinions, so far the Viper appears to be impressed by his former stablemate.
Randy Orton Has Been Impressed With Triple H’s Leadership
Since taking charge of the main roster creative, Triple H has received a lot of plaudits from fans and those working in the company. The rise in viewership and increase in ticket sales has highlighted that the business is hot right now, and a lot of that is down to the decisions he’s making.

But Orton has one particular reason for being impressed with what Triple H is doing, as he explained to “Adam’s Apple.”
“With Nick Khan, HHH, and Bruce Prichard, so many things have changed from a creative standpoint. They’re thinking months and months in advance. Before, we were flying by the seat of our pants. Creative was changed mins before we went live each week. I don’t mean sometimes. I mean, each week.” (h/t

Randy Orton Appreciates
Orton has always been known for being methodical inside the ring, which is a trait he shares with his former Evolution stablemate, Triple H. But it’s something that pays off as Orton often builds his matches and promos to ramp up at the end, which is now aligned with how storylines work generally in the company.
Triple H isn’t looking to rush through angles, which is clear by The Bloodline angle, which Orton has recently been involved with. That’s something that the Viper is happy about, as he enjoys not having to make last-minute changes.
“So just purely from a creative standpoint, you’re able to let it marinate and think about, okay, how am I gonna do this? Or how can I make this better? Or maybe there are tweaks, but you don’t do it ten minutes before you go live.”
Vince McMahon was notorious for making alterations late regularly, sometimes changing the entire scripts for shows as they were taking place. It created a stressful environment for those on the roster, which Triple H is looking to change to produce a calmer environment.
