The Seu d’UrgellResidents of La Seu d’Urgell confirm that the area is experiencing an increase in the occupancy of flats. They ensure, as it collects RTVA, that a good part of the workers are people from Andorra. In addition, there is also a proliferation of so-called pastera flats, in many cases with displaced workers hired in the Principality who are housed in the capital of Alt Urgell at lower prices. Joan Barrera, mayor of La Seu, assures that it is the same Andorran companies that are in charge of renting the homes. The city council has expressed its concern to see how the low rental offer is centralized by Andorran companies for their displaced workers.
