The organization of the San Javier Air Festival (Murcia) has reported the death of Olivier Masurel, one of the pilots who had participated in the exhibition this Sunday. Apparently, a vulture has hit your cabin when it returned to its destination aerodrome, located in Matilla de los Caños (Salamanca).

An accident that has ended the promising career of a pilot who, according to The truth, had been proclaimed champion of Spain of Unlimited in the Spanish Aerobatic Flight Championship after surpassing the first figure of our country, Castor Fantoba. In addition, Oliver also managed to place second in the Freestyle category of the same competition.
The pilot, despite being French, was also part of the National Aerobatic Flight Team and He was one of the three pilots who represented Spain at the 31st World Aerobatic Flying Championship (FAI WAC 2022), where they won the Silver Medal in the team event together with Fantoba himself and Heiner Wehberg.
