Scooch are set to reunite and release new music for the first time in nearly two decades.

The British pop group is made up of Natalie Powers, Caroline Barnes, Russ Spencer, and David Ducasse.

They represented the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 with their song Flying the Flag (for You).

Their song became a massive hit but it didn’t achieve a high rank in the Eurovision.

Despite being catchy it received negative press and subsequently nabbed just 19 points in total, seeing the UK finish in joint 22nd place with France.

The band have now taken to social media where they teased the release of new music.

Sharing a snap of their Flying The Flag single cover, they wrote: “Maybe time to release another chart topping banger?”

One fan commented: “I cannot believe that it’s been 17 years! Where on earth has that time gone?! Jeeez.”

Whilst another added: “What a banger! Still sing it when someone mentions a flag.”

“One of the best entries in my eyes,” penned a third.

This year, Scooch collaborated with easyJet on The Eurovision Song: All Aboard the Orange Plane.

EasyJet have nabbed the spot as the official airline of the Contest this year.
