AEW has grown incredibly fast since its founding in 2019. They quickly became a top promotion, putting on great shows on a regular basis. This is mainly due to the star power that is in the company, to all those beloved wrestlers that have come through the promotion, such as Sting, Kenny Omega, Bryan Danielson, Edge, Christian Cage, MJF, Chris Jericho, Eddie Kingston, among others.

However, not all wrestlers who have appeared on AEW have been fan favorites. In fact, throughout the history of AEW, there have been some simply unlikable performers. No matter how hard the fans tried to like them, in the end, it was impossible to like the following wrestlers.

Shafir is a mediocre talker, but that can be fixed with a manager. What apparently can’t be fixed is how sloppy she is in the ring. Shafir is a bad worker in general, and that’s why fans are unable to like her.

Fans expected too much from him, but Boudreaux has been a disappointment, and he is not even improving, which is why he has become unlikable.

Former boxer Anthony Ogogo tried to become a wrestler and AEW gave him a chance. However, it is safe to say that he has failed. Ogogo has an amazing physique, as he looks like a world champion, and he can cut decent promos, but that’s about it.

Ogogo doesn’t have good in-ring skills, and has improved little to nothing in his time in AEW. Also, his gimmick is pretty basic and boring. Ogogo has done nothing to endear himself to AEW fans.

Maybe you already forgot Marko Stunt, who worked for AEW between 2019 and 2021. The guy tried hard, but the fans just couldn’t like him. His 5′ 2″ height was the main problem, and his 117 pound weight made him look like a child. To make matters worse, his gimmick didn’t help him at all. So it was impossible for fans to like Marko Stunt, and he ended up being one of the worst wrestlers in AEW history.

His character is very boring, he is very basic, and the fans have no interest in him. It’s basically the same problem he had in WWE. Hager has the look of a world champion, but that’s not enough for the fans to like him.

Red Velvet is a mediocre in-ring performer, who botches on a regular basis, which is unacceptable on a professional level. As for her promos and character work, she is not outstanding either. So, fans have no reason to like Red Velvet.

Satnam Singh Is An Unlikable Giant

Satnam Singh is like the Great Khali of AEW, although, thankfully, Tony Khan hasn’t given him a World Title push yet. Singh is 7′ 2″, and that’s precisely why he’s in AEW, because talent-wise, he doesn’t have what it takes to be in a top wrestling promotion.

Singh’s in-ring skills are mediocre, he can’t cut a promo to save his life, and he’s not charismatic at all. With that said, it’s no wonder he’s one of the most unlikable wrestlers in AEW history.
