COUPLES have shared the strangest and wackiest wedding gifts they’ve received.
While some of the wedding gifts were convenient and came in handy, others were deemed “tacky.”

Redditors shared the unconventional gifts they received in a post.
One person shared a reception gift that confused them considering the ceremony theme.
“My cousin was gifted cheese slices and boxes of cereal. It was a fancy wedding and I was baffled,” they said.
Commenters felt that the gift would’ve been equally as strange to them regardless.
“Love that you’ve specified that it was a fancy wedding as if that gift would have been less bizarre at a more casual wedding,” replied one viewer.
One Redditor shared a gift they felt was a little washed up.
“My daughter’s cousin sent her three bars of soap. Not even fancy soap. It was Dove soap. Lol. I think that’s pretty weird,” they said.
Viewers demanded to know more about the grimy gift.
“I’m dying to [know] more! Was it from an online store or did the cousin go to a post office with three Dove soaps in a box?” asked one.
“Shipping would have cost as much as the soaps,” they added.
The Redditor revealed that though they didn’t understand their train of thought, the cousin had gone out of their way to send the soaps.
“Yes, they went to a post office and not just shipped, but internationally shipped three bars of Dove soap from Oregon to Toronto. These are cousins from her dad’s side,” they said.
While many of the gifts were, at the least, edible and usable, many were not sure what to do with the quirky gifts they received.
“My ex and I received a decorative wall fan made out of plastic forks, lace, ribbons, and ribbon roses,” said one Redditor.

“I would have thought it was a joke but it was from a sweet little old lady in his hometown church. It was gloriously tacky.”
One couple said they received an outdated program that crashed and burned.
“A copy of Windows 95. We married in 2010,” they revealed.
The Microsoft Windows 95 operating system was released in 1995 and was followed three years later by Windows 98. Five years after its introduction, the company ended mainstream support for the system.
Many felt that the “retro” software took the cake.
“This wins the thread,” said one viewer.
Some thought the present was technically perfectly on theme.
