In any case, there is a particularity that, although the Government has not clarified, the Association of Communication Users has, as a complaint: Only those content creators who reside in Spain will have to comply with the rule.. The rest will have to comply with the regulations regarding protection of minors and advertising, identifying, for example, when a publication has been paid for by a brand; and they may not advertise certain products, such as tobacco, medications or alcohol, or any matter that generates “psychological harm to minors.”

Likewise, they must properly label the minimum age to which its contents are directedwhich will be established according to the parameters set by the Government itself and the National Markets and Competition Commission (CNMC).
