Luke Littler dumped out of Premier League Darts in first round after ruthless Michael Smith display

LUKE LITTER is out of the Night 12 of the Premier League darts after he was beaten by Michael Smith.

Smith triumphed 6-3 over the teenage sensation as he recorded a fourth victory over him in the competition.

And that was enough to send the 33-year-old into the semi-finals in Rotterdam.

The Bully Boy had missed a match dart to hand the 17-year-old a chance.

However, Littler could not take out 80 as Smith came back to hit double six.

The high-quality bout saw both players hit four 180s.

And both Smith and Littler also averaged over 100.

It was the ace that took Ally Pally by storm over the festive period that just edged out his rival on average, 102.32 to 100.34.

However, it was the veteran’s superior checkout percentage that secured his passage into the last four.

Littler had topped the table at the start of the night ahead of Humphries.

Third-placed Michael van Gerwen is still seeking a record fifth nightly win under the current format.
