ONE lucky Irish lotto player has scooped a mouth-watering sum in tonight’s EuroMillions draw.
However, the fortunate punter was just one ball shy of landing the mega jackpot worth over €116 million.

The Irish player did manage to pick up a hefty six-figure sum after matching five numbers and one lucky star.
The winning ticket was bought in Co Kildare and is worth €114,649 to the owner.
Eight participants around the world won the same cash prize on the game.
However one punter did manage to claim to top prize in the main draw.

The winning numbers in the EuroMillions main draw were 13, 22, 24, 33, and 47, alongside the lucky stars 1 and 5.
The life-changing sum of €116,790,050 was snagged by a single player in France.
In total over 53,000 players in Ireland won prizes tonight across the EuroMillions and Plus games.
Meanwhile, one lucky player has yet to contact Lotto HQ to claim an €8.9million jackpot win.

The jaw-dropping amount was to be won on a ticket sold in Limerick city earlier this month.
The winning numbers in the draw were:Â 01, 09, 10, 14, 26, 40 and the bonus was 04.
Lotto HQ urged players to carefully check their tickets and are waiting for someone to come forward and claim the grand prize.
A lotto spokesperson said: “The latest Lotto jackpot winner is yet to come forward so we are continuing to appeal to all of our players who purchased their tickets in the Limerick city area to carefully check their tickets as one player now has a prize worth over €8.9 million waiting for them.”
Separately, arrangements are being made for another Irish player to collect their Lotto winnings of €1 million.
The player won the prize in the Lotto Plus 1 draw on Saturday, March 9.
The winner bought the ticket at the Filling Station store on Main Street in Oola Village.
