With all eyes on King and Queen of the Ring in WWE and Clash of the Castle right after it, Money in the Bank still feels a long way off. It will be here before you know it though, and there are already firm favorites to win both the men’s and women’s ladder matches. There’s no guarantee those favorites will even be in the matches right now, of course, but it seems likely, provided they don’t get hurt, the frontrunners will not only be in the match, but will likely end up being the ones to unhook the briefcase this year.
Early Favorites To Win Money In The Bank
The odds come courtesy of betonline.ag, and way out in front for the men is LA Knight. With odds of +150, whoever decides these odds is very confident we will be referring to Knight as Mr. Money in the Bank two months from now. That’s provided he doesn’t cash his contract in immediately which I hope he doesn’t as a few months of Knight with the briefcase would be fantastic. Dominik Mysterio is the next favorite on the men’s side, and interestingly Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn is right behind him.
Triple H Announces WWE Money In The Bank 2024 Will Take Place In Toronto
WWE continues its international push for their Premium Live Events, this time bringing Money In The Bank 2024 to Canada!
There’s an even heavier favorite than Knight in the women’s match, and that’s Tiffany Stratton. The odds of Stratton winning are -125, and like Knight, the rising star winning Money in the Bank makes a lot of sense. She’s already competing for titles and having her win the contract will give WWE the chance to keep her out of those matches while having a way to immediately make her champion ready to go whenever they think she’s ready.
The Odds Will Continue To Shift
In joint second behind Stratton on the Money in the Bank odds front are Jade Cargill and Chelsea Green. If Cargill hadn’t just won the Tag Team Titles with Bianca Belair, I’d say there’s a very strong chance of her becoming Miss Money in the Bank. However, I now think a long reign with those titles will be her future for a while. Green would be a great pick as her gimmick really lends itself to a Money in the Bank run. I can also see her being the first person in a while to cash in her contract and lose.
With a little less than two months to go, those odds are going to jump around quite a bit between now and those briefcases being unhooked. Trajectories will change, storylines will unfold, and injuries may occur. Not to mention the lineups for the ladder matches being announced. There’s a chance that some of the Superstars topping the pile odds-wise right now aren’t even in the ladder matches come July 6.
