Carlos III participated last March 31st at the Easter Sunday mass in St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, which was his first major public event since Buckingham Palace announced on February 5 that he had cancer. Since then, the monarch had almost completely canceled his official agenda to undergo treatment against the disease.
From now on, Charles III’s public engagements will be adapted to minimize any risk as he continues his recovery. According to a Buckingham spokesperson, it is still too early to know how much longer the monarch’s treatment will last, although his medical team “is very encouraged by the progress made so far and remains positive about the king’s continued recovery.”
