Javier Milei and the former head of the Spanish Government José María Aznar meet at the Casa Rosada

The president of Argentina, Javier Mileireceived this Thursday at the Casa Rosada the former head of the Spanish Government José María Aznar (1996-2004), as reported by both on their respective social networks.

“Thank you very much @jm.aznar for the visit…!!!”, the leader of the far-right party La Libertad Avanza published on his Instagram account, in which he shared a photo of them shaking hands in a room of the Government House, in Buenos Aires.

The former president of the Popular Party has used the same social network to publish an image of both, in which the libertarian politician is seen posing with his usual thumbs up gesture and Aznar smiling next to him.

“A very interesting conversation with President Javier Milei, at the Casa Rosada. I believe that the Argentine Government is making the right decisions, which are what the country needs. #Argentina is on the right path. I wish you much success,” she posted.

Milei and Aznar agreed this Wednesday in the so-called ‘Freedom Dinner’organized by the Libertad Foundation, of Rosario, in which the president of UruguayLuis Lacalle Pou, and the former rulers of Argentina Mauricio Macri (2015-2019) and of Bolivia Jorge Quiroga (2001-2002).

Before an exclusive audience, all of them They presented their ideas on economics and international politicsamong other matters.

In addition, the former president of the Spanish Government participated this Thursday in the VII World Congress of Intercultural and Interreligious Dialogue, at the University of the Center for Macroeconomic Studies of Argentina (CEMA), which functions as a laboratory of ideas for the right; and in a Seminar of the Libertad Foundation, organized on the occasion of its 36th anniversary.
