In a recent episode of the BS/w Jake Paul Podcast, the 27-year-old boxing sensation Jake Paul confessed to feeling a sense of unease after watching footage of Mike Tyson’s training sessions. During the conversation, Paul’s brother and podcast co-host, Logan Paul, queried Jake about his reaction to witnessing Tyson’s pad work, to which Jake responded affirmatively, acknowledging a degree of nervousness.

Logan Paul asked: “When you see Mike Tyson hitting those pads, do you get a little nervous?” He responded: “Yeah. It’s motivating, I think it is good to carry fear into the ring and with you on a daily basis when you’re training, because it makes you better.”

Reflecting on his apprehension, Jake Paul remarked that while fear may be present, he views it as a driving force, asserting its importance in enhancing his performance both in the gym and ultimately in the ring. Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul have some hope regarding the rules of their boxing match in July.

Addressing Tyson directly, Paul emphasized that prowess on the pads does not guarantee victory in the ring, reminding Tyson that he will have to face him head-on when they meet in the arena. Paul suggested that Tyson’s confidence may be bolstered by his impressive training footage, but warned that the true test awaits them on fight night.

“But Mike, looking good on the mitts is not even half the battle. You have to face me in the ring. I think he’s seeing these videos of how good he looks on the mitts and he’s getting turned up and his confidence is probably growing.”

Logan warned his brother that Tyson won’t underestimate him to which he agreed, adding that the rest of the world doesn’t believe he is a match for the boxing legend.

Alongside the headline act, fans can also look forward to an electrifying co-main event featuring boxing luminaries Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano. Despite Tyson’s age, the 57-year-old pugilist appears to be in peak condition, leaving observers in awe of his speed and power.
