Over 61,000 players in Ireland won prizes in the EuroMillions and Plus games

There were no winners of the EuroMillions top prize of €152,030,614, which will now roll over.

The numbers drawn in tonight’s main draw were: 2, 20, 39, 40, 47 and the lucky stars were 4 and 8.

There was one Irish winner of the EuroMillions Plus top prize, worth a mouth-watering €500,000.

The numbers drawn were: 7, 8, 13, 21 and 37.

Lotto bosses have revealed that the winning ticket was sold online.

Players should check their accounts to see if they have bagged the fortune.

Players who have registered with an online account and choose to play through the website or on the app, and who win over €10,000 can claim their prize in the following way.

The winner is urged to contact the National Lottery Claims Department on 1800 666 222.

They are open between 9.15am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

Wexford-based Ballingly Joinery syndicate arrive at Lotto HQ to collect their €1,000,500 Lotto Plus Raffle prize

Arrangements will be made to process the prize.

It comes as one Lotto punter became Ireland’s newest millionaire last weekend after scooping a massive €8.9m jackpot.

And National Lottery bosses revealed the player, who is the third Lotto jackpot winner of 2024, hails from Limerick.

The Treaty County winner will take home €8,970,934 after nailing all the numbers in Saturday night’s draw.

The winning numbers were: 01, 09, 10, 14, 26, 40 and the bonus was 04.

Garryowen’s GO Stores issued the jackpot docket but the owner has yet to come forward and collect their €8.9m prize.

‘No idea’

As the Champagne was popped today, chuffed shop owner Tom Brosnan said he still has “no idea” who Saturday night’s National Lottery winner is.

Back in 2005 the same little shop sold the bumper €115 million ticket to Ireland’s first megabucks EuroMillions winner Dolores McNamara.

That win catapulted the then-45-year-old mum to number 70 on a list of the country’s richest 100 people, streaking past Ireland legend ace Roy Keane and screen star Colin Farrell.

It was the highest win not just in the history of the state but in Europe at the time.

Today staff member Jack Summerfield said the latest news had sparked “a gold rush” with customers lining up to buy lotto tickets.

He told the Irish Sun: “Everyone’s waiting, hoping to hear who the winner is soon.

“People are saying there must be something lucky about the shop so there’s a bit of superstition feeding into it.”
