Construction is due to begin at the end of the current season in September and be completed in 2027.

The Allen Stand will be demolished and rebuilt with an extra tier.

And a fourth level will be added to the Tavern Stand.

Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) members voted through the plans last week.

The MCC says work will also improve catering, hospitality and accessibility at the iconic ground, which opened in 1814.
