I had bald patches after having a baby, now it’s growing rapidly thanks to £7 Amazon buy, I can’t believe the difference

BEING pregnant can be an exciting time but there can be some serious downsides too.

Having struggled with hair loss throughout her pregnancy, one mum has found a way to recover her locks with a £7 Amazon buy.

If you’ve been struggling with hair loss after giving birth, you aren’t alone.

Hair loss is a surprisingly common side effect of being pregnant and is caused by hormonal activity in the body.

Often, pregnancy hormones will cause your locks to suddenly enter the resting phase, telogen, with women shedding more than 100 hairs per day after giving birth.

Though it is usually temporary, with hair returning to it’s normal thickness a year later, it can be stressful to see more hairs in your hairbrush.

In fact, one new mum revealed that she’d even had bald spots after giving.

To make matters even worse, her little one had been pulling on the delicate strands which only made the patches more prominent.

Determined to do something about it, she decided to try Nature Spell’s Rosemary Oil, after seeing it trend on social media earlier this year.

In a review on Amazon, she later explained that the essential oil had been a ‘dream’ for postpartum hair loss and couldn’t stop raving about the haircare.

She explained: “I saw this advertised on TikTok so was pretty sceptical but desperate to try anything following postpartum hair loss and my baby pulling my hair out!”

Sharing her impressive before and after results, she added: “This is the difference after only one month of using this oil.

“I’ve mostly been using it on my temples but also in the lengths of my hair which feel softer and healthier.

“Completely recommend this for new mums!”

Though this may sound too good to be true, studies have shown that rosemary oil can be as effective as some hair growth medications.

Some research also suggests that the essential oil can help to reduce bacterial infections and improve overall scalp condition.

While scientists are still discovering what makes it so effective, the anonymous shopper awarded the product five stars and urged others to buy the essential oil as it is just £6.99.

She wasn’t the only one with over 590 five-star reviews of the essential oil.

In fact, there was only one issue with the product.

The new mum joked in her Amazon review: “The only downside is the smell which isn’t for everyone – my partner thought I was cooking lamb.”

If you are tempted to try out a rosemary oil, we recommend adding a few drops (between 3-4) to your favourite conditioner before letting it sit in your hair for a few minutes.

You can then do your normal wash routine and ensure that everything is thoroughly washed out.
