RTE star Doireann Garrihy cried “I can’t believe I won” after nabbing the award for ‘Look Of The Year’ at last nights Platinum VIP Style Awards.
The 2fm host was amongst the famous stars stepping out for the fashion event of the year at Dublin‘s Intercontinental Hotel.

Taking to her Instagram story after the fun-filled event, Doireann couldn’t help but share her excitement over her huge award win.
The 31-year-old posted a gorgeous snap of her award show look with the caption: “I can’t believe I won last night. Thanks you SO much for voting for me for ‘Look Of The Year’.”
The Dublin star then humorously added: “When I’m not in leggings and a jumper 99 per cent of the time, I absolutely love to have fun with fashion.”
“Thank you so much for voting for me.”

Doireann looked incredible last night in her custom Helen Steele design.
The beautiful black mini dress had soft puffy material and a unique orange bow on the shoulder.
There was one puffy sleeve and the skirt was A-line.
The hot host finished off her look with some simple pointed black stiletto heels and some small gold hoop earrings.
She had her brunette hair down in some tight curls and wore her staple dusty brown eye makeup look.
The Irish presenter told how she was “so happy and proud to wear Irish designs every year.”
Separately, Doireann has shared the dilemma she is “desperately” trying to change before her wedding this year.
The Dancing With The Stars presenter and her fiance Mark Mehigan got engaged back in November 2023.
Doireann has been sharing updates on her wedding plans on social media over the past few months.
The popular presenter recently revealed that she has a hair problem that needs to sorted out before the big day arrives.

Taking to her Instagram, Doireann posted a stunning picture of herself posing in the mirror.
The 31-year-old then captioned her snap: “It’s a niche group of people, I know, but if you too are engaged, have fine hair and are desperately trying to thicken it for your wedding – I’m with you.
The Dublin native continued to describe how she is coping with her hair issue as she said: “Semi drying it and lashing sunglasses on my head is the new blast drying it and curling it.”
However, the bride-to-be finished off her caption with some positivity as she added: “It will all be worth it girls. Stay strong.”
Fans and friends all ran to the Instagram comments to share their solutions and advice.
Natasha wrote: “Doireann, zinc and selenium really worked for me to thicken my hair and grow it for my wedding.”
